Hello, i'am new here, question i have is, what is the part called with the duct tape on it,,,belt had broke and broke the cover and also broke that piece off

Besides the CVT cover with duct tape on it below that is the speed sensor with tale on it's connector.

Do you mean the engine crankcase ?

The sensor is mounted into the engine case and plugged into the wiring harness.

so its all one piece if i were to order the part?

Not all one piece - the wire harness is separate, the speed sensor is separate, the speed sensor bolts to the engine case. when you or if you replace the speed sensor, there will be engine oil that will come out of the engine case. are you not registering speed on the display ?

when the belt broke it broke the CVT Cover damaged the speed sensor as well

i changed the speed sensor and brand new belt, speedometer works...but belt light still on and quad runs slow and backfires now...can't pick up speed at all @[email protected]

Limp mode. Do the belt reset procedure...assuming you did leave the belt switch in the ON position when in there.
